Eight fiction pieces in Short Films from Castilla y León

Capacity crowd at the Valladolid Laboratory of the Arts (Lava)

10/22/2017.- The Short Films from Castilla y León section scheduled a session today in which the eight fiction pieces selected for the 62nd edition were screened, with the presence of most of the technical and artistic teams of each of the works.

The session, held at the Valladolid Laboratory of the Arts (Lava), screened the short films Cassiopea, by Rebeca G. Bahillo; Dentro del sistema [Within the System] by Francisco Javier Rubio; e-Life, by Mario DC Carbajosa and Vibha D.M.; El fracaso [Failure], by Daniel Remón; Fugaz [Shooting Star], by Herminio Cardiel; La última misión del Comando Cobra [The Final Mission of the Cobra Command] by Luis Sánchez-Polack; Vida y muerte de Jennifer Rockwell [The LIfe and Death of Jennifer Rockwell], by Javier Roldán, and Ya no te quiero [I Don’t Love You Anymore], by Francisco Hervada Martín.

This section, which exists thanks to the collaboration between Seminci and the Castilla y León Regional Government Council of Culture, is sponsored by Renault and El Norte de Castilla. It has a competitive component, with its own jury composed by the directors Ana Cea and Miguel Ángel Pérez Blanco, as well as the journalist Angélica Tanarro.
