‘Grand Cru’ takes the viewer to the vineyards of Burgundy

10/25/2018.- The Cinema & Wine section scheduled this Thursday the film Grand Cru, by director David Eng, a film about the history of the Canadian Pascal Marchand. He arrived at the French region of Burgundy at 21 years of age, he fell in love with the place and settled down to start a path full of obstacles in wine making.

The session, presented by the actor Fernando Gil, was attended by the Canadian filmmaker David Eng. This filmmaker, actor, musician and writer from Toronto (Canada) lives nowadays in Montreal. In 2013, he directed the acclaimed web documentary Burgundy Jazz (Radio-Canada / CBC Music), winner of a Digi award, a Boomerang and a Numix, and nominated for the Screen, Gémeaux, Webby and Rockie awards, from Banff World Media Festival. In addition, he has directed over a dozen short films.

Seminci’s Cinema & Wine section is promoted by the denominations of origin Ribera del Duero, Cigales and Rueda, as well as the City Council of Valladolid, the Provincial Council of Valladolid, the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Governing Council of Castille-Leon (Land of Taste), LAVA , El Norte de Castilla, Europa FM and Onda Cero.
