10/10/2018.- As in previous years, the Valladolid International Film Festival, Seminci, will take advantage of the presence of leading filmmakers in the city during this 63rd edition by organising masterclasses in collaboration with the University of Valladolid. This time round, the classes will be led by Juan Antonio Bayona, Iciar Bollain and Miguel Gomes.
These events bringing together professionals and the public will take place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th, respectively, in the Mergelina Hall. The director of Lo imposible (2012) will open this series of Open Classes on the 23rd at 11am. This year, audiences will get an additional two days to talk about film with the Madrid-born director (Te doy mis ojos, 2014 and El olivo, 2016) and the Portuguese filmmaker (Tabú, 2012), both at 11.30am on the 24th and 25th, respectively.
