‘No sé decir adiós’ or how to escape from reality

10/27/2017. – No sé decir adiós (Can’t Say Goodbye) comes to Seminci to tell the story of Carla, a young woman who one day receives a call from her sister who plans to return to Almeria, her hometown. Her father, with whom she has not spoken, has only a few days left to live, and she refuses to accept that so she takes him to Barcelona, a trip in which they escape from reality.

Filmmaker Lino Escalera, who premieres in Seminci with his dramatic debut feature, has directed numerous short films such as Elena quiere (Elena Wants), Espacio 2 (Space 2) and Australia. Now he enters the world of feature length films with this film based on the fear of losing a father, an experience that he himself lived four years ago.
