Synopsis

Current migratory movements are the new forms of land erosion. Whole colonies move around in pursuit of what they long for. The lost, the stolen, the extorted. Different ways to bring about change in masses of people, insects, animals and entire ecosytems. The paths taken and newly occupied territory; abandoned spaces suffer the consequences of migration. Its effects creating a distorted geography. They draw the hollows and deserts of the twenty-first century. ‘Traces of Erosion’ is the debut work of Bromo, a new project between Paloma Peñarrubia and Azael Ferrer.
